Claude Slides to LinkedIn & Instagram Carousels (2026 Guide)

Claude Slides makes 16:9 presentation decks. Download one as a PDF and it works as a LinkedIn document post, but a proper 1:1 or 4:5 carousel means resizing or rebuilding the slides, or using EasySociable inside Claude.
What is Claude Slides?
Claude Slides lets you ask for a presentation in a normal Claude chat and get a slide deck back. Anthropic launched it on September 16, 2026, together with Claude Docs, when Claude Design started working inside conversations. It began as a beta on paid plans, rolling out to Pro and Max first.
In October 2026 it left beta and is now on every Claude plan, including Free. On Enterprise plans it is off until an owner turns it on.
When the deck is ready you can download it as a PDF, a web page (.html), the current slide as an image (.png), or PowerPoint with current or basic fonts. With Google Drive connected, Share, then Export, then Google Slides sends an editable copy.
Claude Slides vs Claude Design vs Claude for PowerPoint
- Claude Slides is the deck you get from a chat. Fastest way to a Claude presentation.
- Claude Design is the Anthropic Labs product launched April 17, 2026, with Opus 4.7, for designs, prototypes, slides and one-pagers. It is the place to ask for visuals that are not a widescreen deck.
- Claude for PowerPoint is an add-in that runs inside PowerPoint on Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. It builds slides from your existing templates and turns bullets into diagrams and native charts. Pick it when the deck has to match a company template.
Can Claude Slides make LinkedIn carousels?
Partly. A LinkedIn carousel is a PDF document post, and Claude Slides exports PDF, so a deck uploads fine. The catch is shape. Claude Slides makes widescreen 16:9 presentation slides, and we found no documented setting for 1:1 or 4:5. On a phone a 16:9 page shows as a short, wide card with small text.

Step by step: Claude Slides to a LinkedIn PDF
- Ask for a short deck. Eight or so slides, large text, one idea per slide, a hook on slide 1.
- Download as PDF. Use the download option on the finished deck.
- Check the file. LinkedIn takes one PDF of up to 300 pages and 100 MB, with every page the same size. Flatten a layered PDF first.
- Post it. Start a LinkedIn post, add the PDF as a document, give it a title and publish. The LinkedIn carousel guide covers planning and posting in more detail.

Step by step: Claude Slides to an Instagram 4:5 carousel
- Cut the text. Ask Claude to rewrite each slide as one short line. Portrait slides hold less text than a widescreen deck.
- Rebuild at 1080 × 1350. You can ask Claude Design for a custom portrait size, or rebuild the slides in the design tool you already use.
- Export images. Save one PNG per slide, all the same size.
- Upload in order. Add them as one multi-photo post on Instagram.
Why not post the 16:9 PNGs as they are? Instagram keeps photos between 1.91:1 and 3:4, so a 16:9 slide is not cropped, but it shows as a thin strip in a feed built for 4:5.
